Bushy Park has 240 acres of virgin rain forest crossed by a network of
forest paths. Bushy Park is a protected native bird sanctuary and is home to
many native birds, including endangered or rare species, such as saddlebacks
and kiwis. New Zealand's native pigeons, also known as wood pigeons, are a
spectacular sight.
