This image was taken with the 24.6 megapixel Sony Alpha A900 camera on a clear sunny morning. This image makes a spectacular panoramic enlargement as you can see from the crop of the homes below. To give you an appreciation of how sharp the Whitby homes are in a big enlargement, below is a crop of just a small area of the above image. Photo taken with the Carl Zeiss F/2.8 24-70mm lens. Note that the above image has been saved at a low quality and displayed at a relatively small size. Therefore, a 40 inch wide print looks a great deal better and shows a lot more detail.
